About me

Hello! I’m Cheryl, a curious baby boomer constantly thinking out loud. (Sometimes I get into trouble for that 🙂)

In 2016 I started my ‘next new adventure’ when I retired from a 40+ year healthcare career. I moved away from family and friends to a city where I didn’t know a single soul and now live in the beautiful Okanagan valley, British Columbia, Canada.

This is definitely not the first time I have reinvented myself. But after turning 60, there is a different spin on things. What does it mean to ‘age well’ in our current society – youth focused and transitioning out of a pandemic?

All of us who are over sixty years of age have had unique life experiences. Choices were made based on these experiences which brought us to the place we are at in our lives now.

My goal here is to share what I continue to learn about healthy aging – body, mind and soul.

I welcome you to share your thoughts and comments with me and we can travel on this road together.
